i designed this sketch throughout my project, continously adding to it. When deisinging my final piece, i refered back to this for inspiration. if i ever got stuck or coudlnt thnk of an important feature to include, this sketch really helped me.

Final CD Back Cover
The Back of the album cover follows the same style. The image used is the same as the front but has been taken from the back. It is a very simple idea but i think it works effectively as it is very litural. The titles hav been placed on the back of a band member as his clothes were white so the writing shows up clearly and becomes part of the image rather than just a list next to an image. I have added a barcode, date and publisher to make it look more authentic.
ALBUM BACK COVER
The style of the album cover is very simple. I made it like this because it relates to the bands name 'The Basics' and also the album cover 'Simple As'. I chose to make the picture taken black and white as these are recognised as the most basic colours. The background is of the band sitting in a shopping trolley. I used this prop in the photo as it shows the bands fun side but also shows the band is abstract and unconventional attitude. The fact they are also in the shopping trolley relates to youth and shows that they are younge artisits.The titles i have used are appropriate for the bands genre as it is indie style music.
